1. Housing solved! Hopefully re-signing this weekend. Not resigning.
2. Found a second bus route that goes by the fabric store!
3. Learned a magical magical way of getting a big enough knot in the end of your thread speedily and easily!
4. Hand quilting begins…NOW!
What I have learned today: My sewing technique apparently not only necessitates a thimble, but a gauntlet for my entire left forearm.
The sad part is the injury didn’t even come from the sewing part, it came from the pins in the quilt as I moved it up to the sewing machine. Excellent.
People by me blatantly gossiping about people I know, despite the fact that they should be able to recognize that I am also in orchestra. Silly people!
It’d be nice if the universe could sense 30 minutes before I’m going to wake up and turn on the heat. Or I could just have a robot.
Tuesdays, why are you so long?!
Things done: Two hours of live radio, forms and logistics for recital, half of my theory assignment, interview potential housemate, ate lunch, picked up symphony music (Sibelius #1 and Finlandia! Yippee!), cleaned room, finished transposing one movement of the piano accompaniment for my concerto, got groceries, got a new badge sewn on my jacket, ate dinner.
To do:...
I miss my friend Jonathan a crazy amount tonight. Everything seems more manageable when he’s around. Not that things at the moment are overwhelming, in fact, the opposite. But it would be nice to see him soon. I got a nice email from him tonight, and to finish he said, “P.S. Have I told you what a good friend you are? Well you are!”

Audition in 5.5 hours, hoping I don’t get hand-shakingly nervous like last year…

Oh complicated romantic entanglements. Friend A likes friend B, but B only wants to be friends so A is dating girl X. B likes C, but C likes D and only flirts with B for fun. Luckily, D probably likes C so they may get together. But everyone else is just doomed to frustration!
Confused yet?
Don’t you just hate when you meet someone who’s cute and funny and interesting and then they’re already seeing someone else? So unfortunate.
It drives me up the wall when people in movies and TV shows leave Alzheimer’s patients alone and then they lose the patient.

Very tempted to lie in bed and instead of sleeping, listen to the gusts of wind make the house creak. That’s my kind of beautiful.
